Hriday-the heart. A picturesque backdrop of the Himalayas, the pristine and mysterious snow, a cup of hot tea, and a week-long vacation celebrating her boss's wedding is what Hrithika was excited about for the past few days. The D-day finally arrived; with packed bags and close friends, Hrithika's journey began. Little did the heart of hers know about the events that unfolded. It's the music and him against the world for Kriday. After slobbing at a desk job for nearly half a decade, he decided to quit it for good. Just the cherry on top when out of the blue, his cousin had announced his destination wedding. Amidst his distant relative's taunts, unsolicited advice, and his parent's constant nagging about his greying hairs and wedding bells, Kriday's heart yearned for something else. Something that bloomed quite beautifully like the Brahma kamal found in the sacred Himalayas. Similar to the rare flower, his heart struggled to find that pure bloom in his world.

Vaikuntapali - The stairs to heaven "It takes two to tango, Prabha!" huffed Garima. "You know what? I'm done with you. I'm jumping off of this cliff." "Prabhaaaaa!" screamed Garima, her voice screeching his eardrums. Garima had no choice but to interact with her childhood rival at her brother's wedding, who just happens to be her sister-in-law's brother. She didn't want to ruin her brother's big day. "Huhh... it's been a while since my hands touched your face... with force." Garima rolled her eyes. All Prabha wanted to do was sit back and enjoy his sister's post-wedding rituals, at least. But alas, fate teases him!

January 1945. Western Poland. Three very different people are at the start of their individual, life-changing journeys. Anja Köhler, the daughter of a high-ranking Nazi official and proud German citizen, is slightly apprehensive about moving to Finland with her family. Blind to the true situation of a now-crumbling Germany, she doesn't quite understand the reasons behind why they're leaving in the first place. Leib Abramovich, an unofficially-declared Jewish orphan living under the alias Adolf Eilert, nervously counts the seconds between now and the long road to freedom in neutral Sweden. Traveling alone by train, he is full of worry as to what his fate may be if his fellow passengers find out who he truly is. Józef Drzyzga, the revenge-driven son of a once-prestigious Polish politician, tentatively works to destroy Germany's lifeline of supplies in hopes of winning his country back once and for all. He's been tightly held under Germany's grasp for long enough, and without his sacrifice, he knows that the chances of seeing his family again are very slim. Three different people, Three different perspectives, Three different stories. One accident pulls them all together.

He doesn't know what to do with himself, every day is the same thing on repeat. They are just sitting and waiting for something that's never going to happen. Already being half dead, they have nothing left to lose. They stumble upon three girls, who just might be the answer to their problems. The friends who didn't make it out, they stick together. They are prepared to do everything in their power to get back home and get out of wherever they are. With winter coming on fast, the cold is stronger than ever. It bites at their flesh, making every step harder than the last. They are running out of time, they have to do something. Book 2 of "Under The Floorboards" is told by both Kendall and Mark, alternating every other chapter. The challenges they faced in the house are nothing compared to the cold, starvation, and creatures they have to face within an abandoned train station. Both groups set out, in search of each other. Soon enough, they realize how close together they were all along. His world is turned upside down as everything he understands is twisted and thrown out the window after he meets the lovely. Charming Cat Girl Meoows, his companion and coworker, Reason, Meoows tells him it is anything but typical work!

A story about growth and journey.

Have you ever wondered what would have happened if Katniss Everdeen didn't go to save Peeta Mellark right away? Or what would have happened to Panem if Katniss hadn't become the Mockingjay? What if Katniss ended up with Gale? The possibilities of how the story could have went are endless. I've questioned the events in "The Hunger Games" Triology, and this is my take on how a small shift of events can affect Panem's future forever.
