In an empty city, a night guard waits. And watches. And contemplates. These are his musings.

Strange title ain't it? Don't worry, the poet here is just fine. No epilepsy bothering her. A fine collection of poems by an absolutely fit and healthy poet. Then what brought about the title eh? Well... The title owes much of its origin to the kind of nature I have. All the poems that you will be reading here were written in a state of mind that can be regarded as nothing short of excited. I penned down all these beautiful words when they were pressing themselves against my head with incredible urgency. All these poems are one-shot one the spot poems. Even though written in haste, they have touched the heart of every person that has dared to read them. You want to feel them too? Dig in!

My poems through time that i have failed to update

She was his calm, he was her storm. He would have never found her if it wasn't because of fate. She would have never become his, if it wasn't because of fate. What a fickle thing this fate is.. puts people in circumstances they could never imagine they would be in... Raina was the only werewolf in the pack that couldn't shift, and no one knew why. However, she was given an equal say in the pack, even the elders looked up to her for guidance. She seemed ordinary, like any other person in the pack, however if you watched her closely, you would know that she is different.. For how could a girl without an inner wolf be able to command her own alpha? Gabriel was a king amongst his kind, one so fierce that no one could match his glory. His wrath knew no bounds, none could survive his anger. People pitied one who would be destined as his mate; for she would never live the next day to tell the tale. Her misfortune would cause her to join the many that had died before her. But why did he feel such peace, even if it was for a sliver of a second? Why did he feel such calmness in his heart? What was it about the girl with the golden eyes that caused him to be still? Why did she make him feel tranquil?

Life's so tumultuous, isn't it? Aren't we all chasing serenity? What makes us serene? What doesn't? Poetry that answers. May you have a serene read!
