So why bother trying to be himself? But then Alec shows up and he starts to question everything. Alec Raven is a new student at Northridge High. He's been living with his sister and parents for all of his life, though sometimes it seems as if his sister is the only one around. His parents are never around, yet expect him to be the best kid in school. And so he tries. But then he meets Chris and he starts to think, maybe he can be a different person than the one everyone wants him to be.
