Vince was your average dirty blonde, green eyed, white boy. Everest was your alternative, emo, mixed boy. They were polar opposites, so, of course they were enemies, well at least Vince thought so. Every day, Everest would come into the library where Vince worked, they would banter back and forth and then the cycle would repeat. But maybe, behind the banter and one-sided 'hatred' is something more. Kelly McTish goes to Catholic high school along with her best friend Riley. Kelly's a lesbian and Riley's trans. Unsurprisingly, they both feel out of place in a Catholic environment. However, they slowly realize that they aren't alone in this school so they decide to stick together in order to survive high school.

John Laurens's favorite day is Earth Day and he drags Alex around to pick up trash. And NYC is super dirty, so it takes them forever to do it and Alex is tired and whiny. I wrote this in celebration of Earth day, the 20th Anniversary of Rent, and because what's happening in North Carolina is stupid. Alexander is trans in this.
