The remaining DNA was much squishier, less set in stone, and the following generation of children began to wildly change from what humanity was capable of, leading to the dawn of Quirks. In the present day, only zero-point-five percent of the young generation were born without a Quirk, and locked to their birth gender. Such a shame that young Midoriya, the only Quirkless child at school, was a trans girl in a society that had long since evolved past that point of discussion, taking the ability to be either gender for granted. Oh yeah, she also wanted to be a hero without a Quirk. That might be an uphill battle.
