Everyone at the firehouse can tell that Cody's been a little down in the dumps. Cody calls a certain person every time he needs to talk and she's happy to help. She knows everything, about the bots and about everything Cody has gone through. What happens when one night Cody has a nightmare for the third time that week?? and she decides to finally come over, having heard enough of poor Cody's trauma. After that night everyone notices that Cody's mood improves, and they wonder what did it. One day Cody says he gonna go hang out with a friend, everyone thinking of Frankie. But when Chief Burns calls Doc Greene asking for Cody to come home, only for Cody to not be there, they wonder where Cody could have gone.

An average weekend for the rescue team turns into the surprise of a lifetime when they receive a shocking visitor: An older, jaded Cody from an alternate dimension, hellbent on destroying a deadly threat from his world. Faced with the dark implications of this other reality, and the Alternate Cody hiding a tragic past and a horrifying secret, the rescue team must do their best to keep ahead of the new threat.
