This isn't fiction and it isn't advice. It's a collection of moments and places-written while I'm still living them.

In a world ruled by control and order, Lichen thrives on certainty. Every hallway, every elevator, every sliver of light is tracked, measured, and catalogued. Emotions are unreliable data, people are temporary variables, and the outside world is a mystery they can only observe from behind glass. But when Lichen glimpses a stranger moving beyond the Equalist facilities, their careful calculations begin to unravel. Drawn toward the unknown, they discover the Host Club-a group of outsiders who defy the rigid rules they have always relied on. They are chaotic, unpredictable, and dangerously alluring, and they force Lichen to confront a truth they have long avoided: not everything can be measured, controlled, or fully understood. As Lichen navigates the delicate balance between curiosity, obsession, and survival, they begin to realize that knowledge alone is not enough. Trust, intuition, and human connection are messy-but perhaps necessary-for someone who has always clung to absolutes. Miss-Direction is a witty, tense, and openly queer tale of discovery, rebellion, and the strange exhilaration of stepping beyond the lines you've drawn for yourself.

In the summer of 1970, Jack Connolly, a young man navigating the quiet turbulence of identity and desire, meets Eleanor Harris, a spirited girl from Tipperary with a smile that lingers in memory. What begins as a friendship threaded with laughter, shared secrets, and music soon becomes something deeper, tender, forbidden, and impossible to name. Through fleeting encounters, letters never sent, recording sessions and nights stolen from time itself. Jack tries to navigate love in a world bound by expectation, fear, and silence with the help of Doctor Heapley along the way.. The story is a mosaic of longing, almost, and the spaces between, the moments that define us, even when we cannot have them. A story of truth, love, loss, memory, and the courage it takes to let go...or hold on.

Different colors could represent different things in different circumstances. It's different for you and me as it is a matter of perspective. But what matters to me are your heartening presence for most of my life. It is you who brings these colors in the light of day. My greatest wish is for this friendship to stand the test of time as we walk out of our comfort zone and unlock a next chapter individually but still together. This is a book of poems containing 5 different color titles namely, Blue (A), Purple (J), Pink (V), Red (P), and Yellow (R). For me, these colors represents myself and my closest group of friends as we graduate from Senior High School and finally venture off the "outside world". As a parting gift, I dedicate these poems as my letters to each and every one of us.

"Every tragedy becomes a half-forgotten memory once you learn to move on" A collection of 16 poems, centered around the perception and aftermath of heartbreak. A depiction of the profound sadness and hollowness felt after losing the one thing you would never dare to give up voluntarily. The agony of being torn apart by fate and the process of coping up and trying to move on, confronting your own self several times, trying to justify your actions, and the painfully long process of reconstructing your own image in your own head. Such is the melancholy of separation from the one for whom you would sacrifice your entire world. The incessant pain seeps into your soul, spreads through your entire being like a poison, as effortlessly as the passing time. What shortly follows it is the state of complete denial and negation, leaving only an endless web of regrets that seizes you the instant you try to flee. 'Before we learnt to move on' explores the various stages of heartbreak and the final acceptance of reality, encompassing all of the moments of transition we go through before finally learning to let go and move on.

Hello. Thanks for checking out my poetry collection. I really hope you enjoy and most importantly, find value in it. I hope you can relate, imagine or at least be stimulated from reading it. It's a collection that means a lot to me. It's documenting me understanding my emotions, thoughts and life. I went through heartbreak, family issues and personal growth. If you are a veteran in the poetry department, I would truly encourage you to give me your thoughts and advice. Anything to develop my poetry craft. Thanks again for reading this, enjoy and remember, to keep smiling :) - Melissa

Charlotte Gauthier had once led a privileged life in an Antebellum home on an old cotton plantation. As a child, she was ambitious, tenacious, and the word 'can't' was not a part of her vocabulary. At twelve years old, she was crowned Miss Chattooga County. She was a debutante, a cheerleader, homecoming queen, and prom queen. Life before her eighteenth birthday was perfect. She had everything she ever wanted. Then the accident took everything. "Charlotte stared at the wall and watched with dead eyes as the light faded and became the darkness that surrounded her soul. Her eyes grew heavy with the weight of her many sorrows. Exhaustion eventually overpowered her and she fell helplessly into a dreamless sleep. "
