During this time Izuku is waiting in the hospital every day for him to wake up and when he does, Katsuki is reminded once again how pathetic he is. The damsel in distress. He doesn't want to be saved but Izuku wants nothing more than to save him. The explosive blond has to catch up to his peers and adapt to his new ailments. He doesn't want to admit it but, he still needs Izuku at arms length. Maybe that need will mend problems and create new ones?
