This story is and extended metaphor for the struggles of unacceptance faced by trans people every day. This is a story to represent the hardships of those whose own families would rather hurt someone they love than accept them for who they are. But this story is not only for trans people. This story is out to represent all who have felt that they are not accepted by someone they love. And for people who wish to understand that struggle, even if they themselves don't face it.
