This is a Jegulus story that I made for fun and I want to remind people J.K. Regulus has started his ftm transition, which brings him a lot of attention. Especially from pretty boys.

He hates James Potter's guts, for stealing Sirius away at such an impressionable and vulnerable age. He hates James Potter for the easy love he has for everybody, the way he can light up a room without thinking. He hates James Potter for being so bloody good, and not having to deal with any of the bloody bad. He doesn't hate James Potter enough to not recognise the stirring in his gut as more than pure hatred. [Or: a very one-sided haters to lovers fuck around and find out.] I don't know if I'll do a part two 😭

After some unexpected meetings with James, who helps Regulus through some very difficult moments, they start to catch feelings for each other and secretly date.
