The story of an inspiring young women I spent the day with in Pristina. She was embracing individuality and feminism, in a country coming to grips with its recent tragic history. Also influencing other young people to break the mould and be themselves. She had done amazing things in her 19 years.

If you were Alice what would your adventure be? Follow the author through the magic tunnel of social media to the reality of the unpredictable jungle world and beyond. As one world crumbles, she finds herself pulled into a totally different one; a bizarre Central American Wonderland of wild jungles, deserted islands, and sea voyages. Her adventures are filled with twists and turns, strange characters, and unfathomable events. See through the author's eyes as she gradually hatches from her self-made cocoon and surrenders to the transformative powers of her journey. Will she land safely on her feet? Or be lost to herself forever?

A snapshot of life in Tbilisi

According to a number of semi-reliable sources, the world contains 7 continents, 196 countries, and too many cities to track with any degree of accuracy. This is a collection of select interwoven tales designed to share my personal travel experiences to 6, over 25, and over 120 of them respectively. If you do not like to travel, love, drink, or eat, take yourself too seriously, or have no sense of adventure, this is not for you. If you like (or would like) to fly around the world, be married in Italy, take shots of vodka in Russia, eat guinea pig in Peru, laugh at your small space place in this world, or jump and sore off a mountain in New Zealand, this is my submission for your enjoyment. I appreciate it, more than you know, that you have decided to spend your precious time reading what I have to offer, please enjoy.

This piece of writing is something I did during my time at uni. I was set the task of writing a travel piece and decided I would find it more compelling if I were to write it based in the world of fantasy. So I chose to set it within the Harry Potter Universe following the voice of a pompous advice columnist who works for Rowling's fictional newspaper - The Daily Prophet. Just a side note; I do not condone or endorse any of Rowling's personal politics/ views on gender identity. Harry Potter was a huge part of my childhood and shaped me to be the person I am today. It is, in my mind, utterly separate from its author - who has proven herself to be a great disappointment to an entire generation. Regardless, Harry Potter will always have a special place in my heart and I hope you enjoy an extra little slice of the Potter universe without needing to be concerned about supporting a corrupt author.

A short fictional travelogue inspired by my time in Whitby. It discusses the Gothic side of Whitby including Whitby Goth Festival, and Whitby's links with Bram Stokers' Dracula. It tackles issues that people of Gothic and alternative subcultures endure- including myself. I visited Whitby a few years ago- this travelogue is inspired by my time there, but it is mostly fictionalised. Enjoy :)

My first solo travel adventure was to Scotland. This is how the story unfolded.

An examination of the space between Table Mountain and the Indian Ocean, the space between rich and poor there, and the empty spaces we create in our hearts.

Being a keen traveler, who documents the lives of women encountered, visiting Beirut in Lebanon last year was an eye-opener. Over 250,000 African and South East Asian women, are employed in the country as domestic maids. They have no employment or legal protection and instead are governed by their employers, under the kafala system. This lead them to be strictly controlled by employers, who often treat them harshly and they are exposed to physical and psychological abuse, in more extreme cases, sexual violence, torture and murder. The following are based on my observations while in Beirut.
