When a group of 6 friends venture into Hackett Woods for a camping trip they get way more than they bargained for when they encounter dangerous, vicious creatures. And they're not bears. Travis Hackett was a strange man, something you already knew. Everything from how he held himself down to the way he talked. It was all strange and yet it was also 100% Travis Hackett. If you were being honest you wouldn't change a thing about the man who was currently holding you captive in a cell, in an empty police department.

Every single counsellor dies that night at Hackett's Quarry. Every single counsellor except for Max. Max is left the sole survivor of the incident and before he knows it he's on his hands and knees and his vision is blurring and- He's suddenly in the driver's seat of his car with his now very much dead girlfriend sitting right next to him. What. the. hell. Or Max Brinly is stuck in a time loop.

Heron had been walking for who knows how long. It was dark and really fucking creepy out in the middle of the woods, all alone. His car had broken down...awhile back and he had been walking ever since. It hadn't bothered him much, he figured it was going to happen. Only so far he could go on one tank of gas and in a shitbox 3000 plus he was flat broke. Had absolutely nothing to his name and only the duffle bag slung across his back. This fresh start of his wasn't going like he'd hoped it would.

You snuggled against the warm body laying next to you desperately trying to bury your face further into their chest. You received a gentle chuckle for your efforts, feeling the soft rumble of their laugh against your own body. You longed to be closer to the man you were currently snuggled against on a rainy afternoon.

TW: Drug use, self hate/self loathing Travis didn't sleep well these days, not that he'd ever slept well but it had gotten significantly worse over the past few years. With all the lying and killing, cover ups and guilt that kept him awake for days on end.
