You've probably heard this one a thousand times. Where vampires are just ordinary humans with ordinary lives. Well, these lives aren't quite that ordinary. OR The crew of VSMP are actors in a play based off a famous book series. Lots of shenanigans ensue.

The Forbidden Seas belonged to no kingdom. Every map marked the waters differently, but every sailor agreed on one thing: once you crossed into them, you were no longer protected by the crown. Even in a world where almost everyone is born with a whym, an otherworldly ability, there are still people who feel alienated in this strange, superhuman society. Grian is teenager born with strangely coloured wings. Most are a light brown, or white, or maybe blond, but his are bright purple. After being teased for it all his life, he's decided that people he meets in real life just suck. So, getting invited to a Discord server with more social rejects like him seems like a great escape from his reality. Treebark is the first book in the Forest of Life trilogy. It's a story about Jassin, a newly born Forest Guardian - a tree-like humanoid being tasked with guarding its forest from external threats. Now, possessing memories and information he shouldn't have and facing more than one threat, he has to find allies, face his enemies, and look for answers to all his questions. Why do I remember so much? How did this happen? Can I return back to my last life? This is a 'mild' LitRPG book. Expect some skill descriptions, settlement building and epic quests!
