I often wondered what it looked like from below, a comforting blanket of blue. I didn't know what that was like and if my government had their way, I never would. Instead, I am stuck inside this glass bubble attached to the moon. Nobody seems to long for Earth like I do though. They lecture me, saying that I have so much to be thankful for. They said I'd never understand the crippling fear of your planet falling into chaos and perhaps they were right, but this is not how I wanted to live. Deep down inside I knew what I needed. Something was drawing me to Earth, and Earth is where I belonged.
