Chance didn't like how the story of Dreamtale became. So in one of his famous break ins, he decides to do another flip you at Fate by giving the twins something they didn't have before. Or more accurately Nightmare. Chance may or may not have changed the spirit of Dream with another in his escape attempt. One that was still living. Whoops? ___________ A tale of a poor soul from our world who has been placed into Dream's fate. Would Chance succeed in changing the fate of the twins? Or will it all be for nothing? You go there very day unaware someone was with you every visit. Feelings like joy and laughter are not unusual, until one day, you were sitting in the tree when some people came and started attacking the tree, then an unusual anger came to the happy side. You attempt to stop them but fail, then from the branches above drops.........

You are an emotopath meaning you can feel emotions and a very strong one at that so felt more than emotions. Your parents were horrible to you and the students at school were no better. At the beginning and end of every day you would go to the tree, 'your' tree. Sitting in it not knowing someone else was there, and like the song goes you might end up k-i-s-s-i-n-g.

"Everything about him is perfect. He has good grades, is smart, pleases our parents, has real friends. So why can't I be like him even though we're twins?" - Dream sans Dream constantly gets compared to Nightmare. Nightmare doesn't give a single fuck about anyone except himself (will be explained in the story). Dream is jealous of Nightmare (let's be honest, who wouldn't be🙄). Dream is sad and angsty boy. THEY HAVE A FATHERRRRR, LET'S GOOO. There IS logic!! !NO SHIPS, sorry! Ok so- I discontinued my last story and don't really plan on continuing it ever again unless I feel like it. I'm hungry for angst and the lack of High school sans aus make me sad. This is mainly focused on Dream sans, but other characters' angst will also appear. Warnings are in the first 'chapter'.

Dream is tired. Awfully tired of fighting his very own brother day after day. He wants to find a different solution. Something else he can do. "If I can't find a way to save my brother without causing him harm, how dare I call myself a guardian...!", those thoughts have been racing through his head. After a short talk with his trusted allies, he decides to set-out on a journey: Perhaps those new universes and experiences will eventually deem helpful in saving his brother.

Dream, The LONE guardian of the tree of feelings. His job is hard. He is very positive and that alone makes the villagers stay away from the tree, not wanting to upset the shining soul. But there is a legend that circles the tree as well, warning those against taking a fruit when the positive guardian is away. "Legend has it that in the branches of the tree, the side of darkness, there lies a monster. This monster isn't like monster kind. It is a beast. With the darkness of the void oozing from it's bones, and a piercing blue eye that skins your soul to the very core. It has 4 tentacles that can crush your bones to dust. The only one that can stand by the tree without dusting is the guardian himself, that is why we must stay away from the tree of feelings young child." But what will happen if Dream hears these legends? Well, after all...
