Learning of her kidnapping that happened over 8 years ago, they set off to save her. Now with new knowledge of how a rogue Klingon took the children, the Enterprise has faced one of it's most difficult challenges yet. Taking the lost girl under their wing seemed like the logical thing to do, but what happens when they come across several more similar distress calls of the same nature?

Spock and Uhura are married and on board the Enterprise for the five-year mission. Uhura is pregnant and still wants to continue the mission. Spock is loving and ecstatic about the baby. Their love is undeniably strong and deep.

Kirk's present mission is to investigate the disappearance of a Vulcan Science team. However, the mission takes a backseat as Kirk begins to fear an evil presence is stalking him. As Kirk's mental stability becomes worse he finally goes to see Dr. McCoy. However, before the results are back from Kirk's exam the Enterprise is forced into orbit around the planet where the Vulcans vanished. Kirk and the away team beam down, yet there is no sign of life, only a barren planet, which terrifies Kirk. Back on the Enterprise Kirk's brain scans reveal that he is going insane, but before the information reaches the landing party, Kirk vanishes leaving no clues behind.

Star Trek Enterprise was canceled too soon, so now it will be written as fanfic instead. The Enterprise has just undergone a full refit, that is when the Romulans attack, and Shran joins the crew to help Enterprise and humanity survive their first major war since the Xindi attacks.
