This is the tale of Aries, a world similar to ours, currently experiencing its inaugural global conflict: The First Aries War. Similar to our own World War One, the First Aries War introduced new tactics and horrifying machinery that increased the casualty count to the hundreds of millions. This book will follow the POVs of soldiers from each nation in the conflict.

This is the sequel to 'The outside'. Clancy and Torchbearer get some devastating news that changes everything.

I am a citizen of Dema. I am an escapee. I have failed time and time again. I have never seen the world outside this city, but one day I hope to. One day I will. My friend Clancy is like me. He is a citizen of Dema. He is an escapee. He is an exception. He has seen the world outside these imposing walls. He tells me about these people he's seen. He hasn't been able to speak with them yet, but he gets closer with each escape. I'm going to ask him to take me the next time he goes. I want to see these people for myself. I want to know if we can survive outside of Dema. Because I want to live.

Like the title, it will be a short story that I will not make a book. It is actually just for fun, and let my damn creativity to go, and didn't get wasted. Also it might be random so yeah

He and his fellow soldier Jacob must help each other survive the cruel trenches, but it is no longer certain that either of them will return to England alive. Told in journal entries and letters from Henry's sister Elizabeth, this reveals the realities and horrors of World War I, on the battlefield and in the homefront. I wrote this for a history project while studying WWI and got way too involved in it, so here you are. WARNINGS: gun/bomb/gas-related violence, war descriptions, graphic death, suicide attempt. I will mark specific chapters with warnings and give summaries of those chapters on the following one. Every ten years a handful of randomly selected teens are sent to Trench. Trench is controlled by Dema Council and Dema Council is controlled by Nicholas Bourbaki. Nicholas has a bit of OCD, everything must be according to number. Tyler was one of the randomly selected, which are actually considered the chosen ones to be sent to Trench. At the beginning he thinks he knows everything but he soon finds out that things are hidden in between the 1's and 0's. This is where Josh comes in. The Josh Tyler thought was just another number.
