I am a citizen of Dema. I am an escapee. I have failed time and time again. I have never seen the world outside this city, but one day I hope to. One day I will. My friend Clancy is like me. He is a citizen of Dema. He is an escapee. He is an exception. He has seen the world outside these imposing walls. He tells me about these people he's seen. He hasn't been able to speak with them yet, but he gets closer with each escape. I'm going to ask him to take me the next time he goes. I want to see these people for myself. I want to know if we can survive outside of Dema. Because I want to live.

This is the sequel to 'The outside'. Clancy and Torchbearer get some devastating news that changes everything.

Like the title, it will be a short story that I will not make a book. It is actually just for fun, and let my damn creativity to go, and didn't get wasted. Also it might be random so yeah

Nico is attending morning check-up at a university in Dema when he comes face to face with his worst fear. The new prodigal son, the new Clancy, the new "Hero" of Dema.

But when has he ever followed the rules? - - - This is a Clancybearer fic but I've put my own twist on it so it's not 100% lore accurate, but I'm really proud of this one and I really hope you guys like it!
