Trench crusade time

A realm with nothing but sensation, and a squadron of invaders that feel no sensation. Ghosts against flesh. This is no tale of moral. Simply a slaughter of continental proportion. (Note that some abilities and qualities of the Trench Ghosts are fan-made, but still have relative grounding within the Trench Crusade, to the best of my abilities, namely the fear inducement being adapted from the tabletop's actual Trench Ghost ability to incite fear.)

The creature began to slaughter all the heretics and demons who were attacking them. Who is this creature?.....what is his purpose in coming to this world where hope has been lost?

Getting reborn as a gamer is Cool. Getting Reborn as a Gamer in WW1 with demons and angels involved is worse.
