Sometimes...
we might go back in time to change the past.
Or perhaps, we go back...
just to understand someone we never truly understood before.
The year 2026.
"Ray" a 23 years old Gen Z guy who grew up with his father's quiet demeanor, never knew that beneath that cold expression was once a teenager who laughed out loud, loved riding motorcycles, listened to cassette tapes, enjoyed playing music and was as full of life as summertime.
One night, he stumbles upon an old karaoke booth that sends him back in time to the year 1996.
There, he meets "Ko" his own father, at 19 years old.
Amidst the sounds of 90s music, cassette shops, outdoor movie screenings, and fading memories, Ray begins to discover that some connections run deeper than the word "family" and that some truths hurt far too much to ever change.
This is the story of the summer of '96, featuring two young men who have no idea they are about to become the most important memory of each other's lives.
