One night Samson is found dead and the militia is taken over by Straith, his best friend. He has never cared for Nova and exiles her out of the base to fend for herself. As she manages on her own, she meets kids who were left for dead from the Ivak's destruction on different villages on the planet and sees herself in them. She goes on to teach them how to protect themselves and care for each other as brothers and sisters. Little does she know, she has just created her very own militia of assassins .
