I quickly rushed over with my hands ready to catch Yesha the same time as they stepped back, when she dropped in my hand I gave her a smile. "Thanks, bodyguard" she said holding onto me tight. "How could you Asia?" I said angrily, the same time the boys came over. "When I want something and things are getting in the way, I get rid of them." She said looking at me and Yesha with a smirk. "Why do you want that slut anyway?" She asked, as Yesha gets out my hand. "Thanks that's a real nice compliment, but if you may remember it takes slut to know one. Which means you've either went around selling yourself to the bums on the street or you walk around the school begging for it. So with that said I'm thinking you did it with almost every male in school including the dogs that walk around. Set in the quiet coastal town of Toveda Bay, Dread of the Ocean follows Osheuna, a sheltered, artistic teenage girl raised in a lighthouse overlooking restless waters. Homeschooled by her father, Chandler Winoski, Osheuna's world is small but rich - filled with books, paintings, and the steady rhythm of the sea. Everything changes the night a violent storm drives a fishing boat into their dock. From that wreckage emerges Grusha Tabose, the son of a fisherman bound to the tides and to a family legacy rooted deep in the bay. His arrival pulls Osheuna out of isolation and into a life she's never known - school, friendships, first love, and the messy beauty of growing up in a town where everyone knows your name and your secrets. But Toveda Bay is not just a town. As Osheuna begins attending Toveda Academy and forming connections beyond the lighthouse, she becomes increasingly drawn to a mystery long embedded in her home: a strange painting signed by an unknown artist, H. Ashler, whose work seems to echo the ocean itself. What begins as curiosity slowly unravels into something far older and far more dangerous than small-town drama. Beneath the romance, the friendships, and the heartbreak, the sea watches. The ocean in Toveda Bay is not passive. It remembers. It reacts. And it has been waiting. As Osheuna and Grusha grow closer, they are unknowingly pulled toward a truth that ties together art, legacy, and a presence lurking beneath the waves - a force that does not announce itself with storms alone, but with silence, electricity, and dread. Dread of the Ocean is a supernatural coming-of-age story about first love, identity, and the quiet terror of realizing that the place you call home may be alive - and may have chosen you.

This narrative chronicles the meeting of Kathy and John. While the events depicted are true, the use of pseudonyms-specifically for "Anna" and "Kathy"-has been necessary to protect the privacy and well-being of those involved. However, the character of John McClean is identified by his real name. The author, Jane L. Candle, writes from the perspective of a close confidante to Professor McClean. Tasked as his amanuensis, Candle's role was to document and synthesize the Professor's extensive research experiences and personal encounters during his time in the Philippines. Readers should note that the introductory portion of this narrative has been adapted and expanded from the original work, "Anna's Story" by Adora Velasco, ensuring that the authentic cultural foundations of the journey are preserved.

The forest exhaled a sigh as the wind rustled through its ancient canopy, carrying with it the scent of pine and earth. Under the shimmering gaze of the full moon, two paths converged, setting the stage for a tale of destiny and desire. Isabella, a young christian woman, walked the narrow forest trail. Her auburn hair caught hints of moonlight as it cascaded over her shoulders, revealing a face with soft features. Isabella's steps were guided by an unseen hand, the hand of fate. A human among supernatural beings, she carried herself with an air of gentleness that set her apart. Her heart, a wellspring of kindness, held an unspoken longing for something more, a connection beyond the ordinary. Deeper within the woods, the air crackled with anticipation. Emerging from the shadows came Alexander, alpha of the Midnight Claw Pack. His presence commanded attention, a force of nature wrapped in a man's form. Midnight-black hair framed a face chiseled by experience and despair. In him, the wildness of the wolf was tempered by the reasoning of a man. In the world of fated mates, Isabella and Alexander were mere pawns in a cosmic game. Unbeknownst to her, their fates were irrevocably entwined. As moonbeams wove intricate patterns through the trees, the ancient prophecy began to stir. "From distant realms and stars above, Two souls entwined, destined to love. Moonlit whispers, a force unseen, Binding their fates, two halves of a whole. A gentle heart, a strength concealed, Shall find its match in the dominant field. loyalty and power, a dance to embark, United by fate, through light and dark. Yet darkness lurks, a shadow unknown, Threatening to sever what fate has sewn. Through unity's grace and destiny's might, They might just conquer the storm ahead. As the moon bears witness, a vigilant eye. Trials shall test, their bond under strain, For a curse's grip tightens, causing pain. Will they grapple with despair or emerge to the light?"

The Atrocity pack, viscous and seeking power, is growing. The Alpha's daughter, Petrova, is forced to live there under unjustified conditions. She has no idea why, but her father despises her. The threats, commands, scorning, work... it made her who she is. She is a princess, born to lead and take care of her pack. She doesn't see those things in herself or her future. Too many things are in the way of that. However, there are secrets about her that not even she knows. Next to the throne and in the bloodlines of the original werewolves he doesn't just have power, Zorvane is power. Soon he will be alpha of The Regal Pack and will begin his reign as the US packs supreme leader. The current state of the werewolf world will make it difficult for him to become accustomed to the role. He thinks he knows what he wants, but he really has no idea what he needs. They live totally different lives, have completely different personalities, and yet the two of them are so similar. Their lives seem to draw each other in at just the right time, because of everything going on, but who is really helping who? They are both trying to do what they are told and prove themselves to their packs. He thinks she is the answer to many questions, the solution to the rivalries between packs, and most importantly the key to finally crowning him king. However she is trying to stay safe by staying loyal to her father, but the adventure and curiosity she discovers in herself the more she is around him is changing her priorities. The question that only becomes stronger though, who is the real alpha here? ▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼ Cliche' is nice, in my opinion, when done right. However, even cliche' has to be unique enough to make a difference. That is what I am trying to do with this story. It isn't just going to just speed along through with no character development like many of the books here. I'm going for a real novel, a real story, something to remember.
