As Chrissy looks fondly at her ex-husband taking their daughter out for the day, she wishes she was going with them. if only she could rewind her life and change things, she certainly would have done things differently. However, life isn't as simple as that is it? Now in hindsight she sees her faults and Joe's. If only they had talked before she had been so stupid. Now it was too late. The deed had been done. The divorce papers were still on the shelf in the kitchen where they had sat the for last six months. Joe hadn't chased her. Did that mean there was hope? She hadn't been happy when they were together and neither was she apart. Chrissy knew she still loved him but it hadn't been enough before. If only she could go back to the moment things started to unravel with the knowledge, she had now but would that make any difference she wondered? Could he be the man she needed him to be again, like the one she first met who had swept her off her feet. The time when it was them against the world and just the feel of his lips on hers made everything else fade away. Well, she was never likely to find out was she? Don't assume anything. Hey, I decided to participate in the Trials of Love contest. So I guess, this book is for this purpose only.

A look of shock flashes over his face before he disguises it with a smirk and says," Is that so? Well then, I guess that means I'll have to stay by your side all night." Genuinely curious, I tilt my head and say,"Why?" He leans in and whispers," I can't have guys staring at my girl all night, now can i?" Knowing he was just flirting, I push him away and say," Your girl? Puh-lease, you can't handle all of this." gesturing to my body and placing emphasis on the "all". He looks at me somewhat seriously and says," Wanna bet?"before placing his hands on my hips and pulling me up against him. i duck my head and blush. AXEL POV I'm addicted to her. At first they don't realise they have met before, and were previous enemies. Someone exotic and alluring like Gisele and what's he find, Gisele's stunted, unkempt, gormless looking penniless step sister. This is a one-shot written for Trials of Love contest Prompt: Obstacles by Mystery The theme for the prompt is obstacles. Something or someone is in your way. Whether you are a stalker about to claim your latest victim, or a lover desperately searching for your partner or a cop on the hunt for the biggest criminal. The goal is always the same- "I will always find you."

These 1000 words are an ode to King Henry and Anne Boleyn who poured their passion onto parchment long before they were married. Some say he first met her at her father's house and others note his infatuation with her at court. But one thing is certain, Henry wrote letters to Anne of deep and abiding love that no other wife of his received. She may not have kept her head, but she had his heart. There is a long-standing myth of a planet with blue skies and water. Late at night, Elders from all planets would point up at the sky and retell legends of furry beasts, where flying mammals marred the sky with lullabies, trailing shadows above abundant trees. For eons, the Bureau of Space Exploration searched for the alleged sapphire planet and all forms of life in Cosmos Redshift 7 banded together in an effort to find new life, to form new allies. And in the BSE's Space Craft Center, Hheli and Merci created a bond stronger than any fighter brigade could ever fathom. There is one problem though. Merci and Hheli's haven't talked in deciquads. Not to mention, their bodies cannot live in the other's conditions. Hailing from Traxi, Merci relies on high doses of carbon dioxide. And ironically, Hheli was born on Norctune, where the sun doesn't shine and the air is thick with oxygen. Is this just a problem they can't fix?
