Four newly made RiverClan apprentices have just begun training. They learn quickly and are eager to show their Clan what they can do. Onyxpaw half way though her apprenticeship decides to become a medicine cat apprentice. Echopaw wishes to become Clan leader one day. Before long RiverClan scents dogs in their territory. Many moons passed and the Great Battle, when the Clans and the Tribe of Endless Hunting fought and defeated the Dark Forest, became ancient history. Many of the cats that were alive at that point have now died off, even the leaders. The Tribe of Rushing Water has gone back to the mountains and the Tribe of Endless Hunting has gone back to their own resting place in the safety of their own stars. The Clans are thriving on their own with new leaders, new Ancestors, but life around the Lake had never been the same. Peace and Harmony fills the heart of any Clan cat who lives among them. With no way home, they set towards a lake. Many moons later, They are what is known as The Tribe Of Flames. They live inside of a large cave, prey is all around them. Broken Shadow and Tumbling Breeze are two apprentices of the tribe. They have wanted to become Fierce Fangs like all of the others and they were finally ready. But will they pass? Will they reach the end of the Cave of Shadows? Or will they die because they went down too young.

Fredca and her team come upon a tribe of cats in the mountains who are dealing with their own problem.

Moonsky, a Squirrelclan warrior, gets incredibly mad when her best friend Pebbleclaw becomes leader and doesn't choose her to be deputy. Moonsky runs away from Squirrelclan and meets some friendly stray cats, she asks the cats to help her make a clan. The cats join her and they make Leafclan. Moonstar needs to keep her clan well fed and free of trespassers, but is violence the answer that Moonstar thought it was?
