(I know that it says that this book is a Warriors fan fiction, but it isn't really about anything in the Warriors series by Erin Hunter. I did get lots of my ideas for this book from them though, and you will probably notice the similarities. All of the characters, tribes, places, and other things belong to me. Like any other apprentice, her biggest dream is to be the most loyal, brave, and helpful warrior in her tribe, but one day she has a strange dream, and Leaf's normal life suddenly changes.

Azure is a Seawing who enjoys swimming around the deep palace, racing Queen Dolphin's sons and daughters, also her cousins, whenever the Nightwing tribe is invited over. Her mother, Tidal, always seems excited whenever Azure's aunt invites their tribe over. However, Azure is strangely coloured. Her bioluminescent scales are a silvery, starry-colour while every other Seawing she's ever met has blue or green. Her scales are an off, deep blue, with hints of black and purple within them. When Queen Dolphin finally agrees to send her, and her cousins, Axolotl, Koi and Seaweed, to Jade Mountain Academy, secrets are revealed, ones that Azure wishes would otherwise have stayed hidden. Could her life be in danger, or is it just her mind playing tricks on her, like it does whenever it gives her those weird, cryptic nightmares?
