Avery Jackson is a Senior at Golden Oak High School. She is seventeen and has long brown hair and brown eyes. She also plays soccer with her best friend, Brenna and they spend a lot of time together. Brenna is very worried and will do whatever it takes to help her , and so will the mysterious, Cameron Keegan, star soccer player.

That was 2 years ago and now, her mother passed on while her father married again. At seventeen, she has 2 stepsisters and a stepmother who hate her guts and want her to graduate as a miserable teen. She hopes to be prom queen at her school. After her finals, she tries to get her life together, but during the prom, she meets a classmate she never expected to fall for, especially after just one dance. She mistakenly leaves something with him. He now wants to track her down, using this item. Sound familiar? This is the Cinderella story that you never expected. A modern twist of the fairytale you can't get enough of. Will Cindy also have the same happy ending? Or will reality just blow up in her face?

This is a book of terrible short stories that I wrote. They are completely exaggerated. (although, I have read some books like this) *shivers*. These stories will make you trip and I promise you that you will be ranting about this for days. I myself was triggered while writing it, so please read it! READ THE BOOK!

He turned me to face him as he began speaking " I can't think, I can't sleep and I can't go a day without thinking of you, don't you dare come with I am leaving shit, I agree we have been through a lot of shit since senior year but look at us now, we made it didn't we, com on babe don't do me this, I love you for real, I mean it, my definition of love is evident to you, have you even read the letter I left in your assesory drawer last night, read it cause I mean it, I guess you haven't read it but Kcarlie, Kcarlieannaé Alānna Smith,.........." he said getting on his knees a tear slipped his face the same time one slipped mine as it fell in between us in unison, he gave me the rose and took my left hand, opened the box revealing a 18 carat gold ring with a huge diamond in the middle and some tiny one surrounding it. "Will you marry me" he asked. I was so dumbstrucked....... " I..I.....I don't know what to say," " Say yes, I promise you I will do better." " yes" I exclaimed shaking my head as I can't control my mixed emotions right now.
