Trip just wanted to spend time with Amy after so much time apart. Too bad a major crisis long thought dealt with had to come back. Now, sent back to the day before, our sungazer friend must find the source of what would unleash the Metal Virus upon the world once more before it's too late. Short tales of the adventures of Sonic, Tails, Amy, Cream, and Knuckles, along with Sonic's other friends. Tales that come after the games, set a decade in the future. Prologue gives my origins of the characters, game/IDW universe but borrows from other universes. Set in the same universe as my story 'The fight for freedom', but not necessary to understand this story.
