Fluttering my eyes open, I was breathless. My words had escaped me. His kisses was like a breath of fresh air, they felt special. It's all good and gold in Rosewood, for play. The four girls pinned down the Mysterious A and summer vacation is once again coming up. But the girls know that Rosewood is down a dirty with summer vacations and knowing them, they won't stay out of trouble no matter how long Mental Mona is locked up in Radley Sanatarium. So when the opportunity to escape Rosewoods clutches rises in the community, the girls enter a once in a life time trip to secluded paradise island holiday, hoping that the new A will run out of steam once they were far away. They board the plane only to learn that Mental Mona has escaped Radley Sanitarium and that she hasn't been spotted in Rosewood ever since. They meet Lissy Summers on the plane ride there but soon realise what they know, soon Lissy will know. The girls get off the plane with the other Rosewood winners, which seem to be most of Rosewood high school itself, and learn that it's not really paradise at all. When they turn to leave, their way off transport has disappeared and they are left to fend for themselves. Civilians join teams and power and hunger collide. A New Hunger Games is beginning . Worse.
