Peter Rhodes is determined to bring us all out into the light, to be able to fully express ourselves. He doesn't however reckon on an indifferent unprincipled world. The themes follow those of the Epic cycle.

In the year 2462 The Human race has left earth's war torn remains, its people separated by war, each side scattering itself across a different area of the universe. With the revolutionary technology created by the long dead CEO of the company Exco in the year 2014, the human race has made even the most barren and deadly planets inhabitable, made almost all injuries treatable, and doubled the average lifespan of a normal human. With the people scattered across many planets, not one planet is truly safe. Either threatened by nearby humans or by the old inhabitants of the planet. Roki is grounded on the worst of them all; the planet Achilles, named after the almost unbeatable soldier of mythology. But Achilles is not unbeatable. It faces the onslaught of neighbouring humans, while the constant threat of the native species, Named the Trojans by the first settlers. All Roki has ever wanted to do was escape. Escape the living hell that is Achilles.

A rich teenage girl from New York moves to Troy, Ohio. She meets a guy whose name is Rex Adams and has to deal with his antics while their relationship goes between boyfriend and girlfriend to frenemies. Rex is handsome but she thinks of him as a nerd and he's her only chance of surving her new home and school. With a friend and a talent maybe she can move up the ranks at her school and earn their trust and respect. Will Rex and Katie's relationship be steady or will her dad ruin their relationship by trying to make her into a rich snob. Find out as she askes God to solve her problems and as she grows.
