But when she finds out one troll, one gray troll, who is uninterested in spreading such happiness, and despises it all, Poppy goes out her way and does all that she can to try and help him realize just how amazing Christmas is and learning to embrace it, and especially that she, and people do care about him, and he is special just like everyone else, no matter what obstacles she may face. This is an AU of velvet and veneer from trolls band together but as kids. so from the past. the story revolves in them moving to a small suburban town and its their first day of school.
