"...Newspaper Club." Trophy thought about it. Like, actually pondered it- the whole thumb-and-forefinger-to-the-chin and-looking-up thing. Newspaper Club? Doesn't sound too hard, he thought. Just write some lame article on the school talent show or that dance recital or whatever that Soap did last week, and he would be good. Despite looking like your typical jock, he was pretty decent at writing essays and shit, so this should be a piece of cake. "Doesn't sound bad- well, not as bad as the rest, I guess. Sign me up, babe." Little did he Trophy know that with those words, he would send himself down a path of events that would end up changing him forever- all thanks to the little red-headed president of the Newspaper Club. (also, the cover is a stand in until I actually have time to draw something!)

[UNDER CONSTRUCTION] hi this story is going under like major renovations due to I Decided to Get Rid of the Main Plotline the chapters are going back into my drafts until i've rewritten them to fit the new plot. very sorry for. whatever inconvenience that may cause anyways, this story is based off of the 14th book of the WoF series wherein the mc recieves a magic ring from a dead magic lady that lets her see through the eyes of others in her dreams. the ring in this story doesn't work exactly like the one in the book, but it's similar. this story mainly focuses on trophy and his redemption however it does have other characters, obviously, considering the biggest focus within the plot is his interactions with others. that's really all i have considering there's not much to the story right now. please read and interact, if you'd like. UPDATE 10/21/25 this story was discontinued a long time ago; i only unprivated it so a friend could see. if you want to read and leave a vote or comment you certainly can, but this will never be continued. i'd usually have the decency to leave a plot synopsis here so you could imagine the rest of the fic, but this was all written so long ago that i don't remember how it was supposed to go. i don't know why you would, but if you really really wanted you could continue the story yourself. thanks for reading.

i was bored and i wanted to make a comedygold fanfic. desclaimer: this is my first time writing a fanfic so please do not judge it and i may post new chapters rarely because of school. characters are from inanimate insanity by the way might add more tags soon, but for now this is this. i'm not really an expert to this.
