For World Oceans Day, a collection of poems about the ocean.

Reeya Advani cannot wait to go on a two week vacation to Costa Rica to not only escape the atrocious and stressful life of living in New York City, but also to forget about her ex-boyfriend, who cheated on her with her own roommate in front of her own eyes. It's pretty safe to say that the poor girl deserves a break, considering the fact that she also got fired from her job on the same day. But when she reaches there, Reeya does not expect to run into the cocky and enigmatic man known as Akash Tailor, the same man she supposedly spilled a drink on and got into a heated argument with couple of weeks ago. In other words, the next two weeks for her are going to be absolutely interesting. ~ WARNING: This story contains language, alcoholic abuse/violence, sexual scenes, and adult partying. So I know that I have not posted in quite sometime; school has really been time consuming. Anyway I took a Poetry Class this semester. Here are some of the pieces I did. Tell me what you think.

An ex-corporate hotshot and a homeless fugitive head to the Florida Keys with hopes of straightening out their botched-up lives. Due to a poor decision he made, high-powered corporate exec Jack Ryder has lost everything dear to him--his wife, daughter, twin Lexus's, and a palatial home in upscale Wellington, Florida. The other man, known in the nearby West Palm Beach homeless community as 'The Prophet', is a well-read, gun-toting, enigmatic mountain of a man who's being hunted down by the FBI for a crime he insists he didn't commit. The highly-unlikely duo first meet and take a liking to each other beneath a highway overpass the night after Jack is evicted from his home. But they don't stay in West Palm for long. They soon learn the FBI is closing in on The Prophet and flee south to No Name Key, where a friend of the fugitive has allowed them to lay low in an unoccupied mobile home. When they first arrive in the Keys, having a roof over their heads and surrounded by breathtaking watery vistas, the two feel more hopeful about their futures. But that optimism quickly fades. The Prophet begins to think the Feds are again closing in on him, and he starts to slip mentally. As for Jack, every time he calls his wife with hopes of getting her back she flat out refuses, and their teenage daughter becomes even more heartbroken about the situation. Then there's the beautiful, flirtatious bartender down at Michigan Mike's High Tide Pub who, despite Jack's efforts to dissuade her, keeps her romantic sights set on him. As if all that isn't enough, there's now a killer hurricane heading straight toward the Florida Keys, and when it arrives it's going to put Jack in a dangerous situation that could very well cost him his life.

Running from responsibilities the last thing Marie expected when she moved to a small remote island was to find a boy half drowning in her own backyard/stretch of beach. Upon rescuing she ultimately swims into something she never thought was possible, into the realization that merfolk are real and not only that but a hot merman wants his brother back and will stop at nothing to do it. Aenon's not your typical merman, no he used to be human but now only wants to forget about that life. Focusing on his new life his only task is to retrieve his half brother so he can enter the guards, easy right? Well not so much when you have a rebellious stubbornly gorgeous woman going all motherly instinct over your brother whom you're supposed to basically kidnap. Pfft land dwellers.

Running from justice the murderer of a drug baron's husband hopes to hide from retribution.

Melanie was a Filipina girl, the eldest in her family. Her dream was to become a nurse or maybe even a doctor. But unfortunately she had to drop out of nursing school to go with her aunt to America to work as her aunt's employee to provide for all her family members. She had 3 other siblings, and her grandmother and grandfather was also in the same household. She never complained and was happy with her big happy family. But... When she came home and accident happened and she died... Now she lives her second life in a Victorian style world as a noble lady who was ridiculed for her brown skin... The villainous noble lady of a magic romance novel. Melanie only realizes this as she found a copy of the book in her library. But she could care less.

In a rollercoaster ride to the tropics, Will they remain indifferent and platonic? Will they say that love is idiotic? Or believe that it is rather hypnotic?

The last four survivors on an island, Mair, John, Rowan, and Lily are faced with a problem. There is a storm coming, a storm that could destroy them. Only half will survive. Who will they be? How will they go on?
