I wrote this in a notebook while crying in a submarine. I have been mentally scarred since the end of Rise of Skywalker and this is my way of coping.

Since Ben died on Exegol, Rey has been trying to cope with the empty feeling inside herself. It seems impossible. But there may be a chance to bring the other part of her dyad back... Anakin looked back at the mirror, which now showed the moment Ben had heaved Rey's lifeless body onto his lap and rested his hand on her abdomen to give her his life. {Set after The Last Jedi - skip to chapter 8 if you're not very interested in reylo and want to start with action} A month has passed since Kylo Ren let the Resistance escape. During this time the Resistance have been living in an underground base, training with their new hightech weapon, while the First Order have been hunting them down and threatening to diminish the Republic if they do not come out of hiding. With Supreme Leader Kylo Ren's orders to find Rey and bring her to him, he will then be successful in killing the last jedi and the jedi religion. With the Resistance not being able to leave base and Rey not knowing she has a bounty on her head, will the First Order finally succeed in ruling the galaxy?

In the wake of the sinister FINAL ORDER's defeat, and the deaths of EMPEROR PALPATINE and BEN SOLO, a fragile balance now reigns in the galaxy. Yet, the new Grey Jedi, REY, has never been more alone. She still senses the faint glimmer of Ben's soul, and will not rest until she sees him again. While the RESISTANCE annihilates the straggling remnants of the First Order, and a mysterious voice echoes through the Force, Rey ventures across the galaxy in search of a world thought only to exist in legend - a WORLD BETWEEN WORLDS.

When it lands, a troop of soldiers with white armour and helmets along with weird looking guns march out of it. Behind them, it's a tall man, all in black, with a black hood and a black mask. "Take me to your leader and no-one will get hurt." The man said, a mechanic voice loud and terrorising everyone. A curious girl watched the whole scene peeking from the side of a building, but what took most interest to the girl was when the tall masked man was able to lift a car and send it through the air by only raising his right arm. Jane knew she had to get to him. So she did.

A different take on the Death Star scene in TROS. Don't get me wrong, I liked the movie, but this is just one of the ways that I think this scene could have gone. Characters are owned by Lucasfilm/Disney and this story is not connected in any way to said companies. It was made just for fun.

Let's just say, for example, traveling in time. Backwards in time, to be specific. With two very specific people sharing the memories of the previous timeline. Rey and Ben. Every Reylo heart out there broke the moment Ben Solo disappeared in his last scene in TROS. Including mine, after watching the movies a hundred times and reading every Reylo fanfic out there, I decided to finally write my own. I will hopefully be posting at least once a week:) Enjoy! My novel is set after "The force awakens". It does have some similarities to TLJ and TROS, even though the plot is different, some of the same events will happen etc. Rey is currently back on Jakku, resting and regaining her powers. Finn, Poe and the rest of the resistance are undercover, hiding from the First order, whom are building themselves up again, really fast. Luckily, Rey has BB8 with her, as her companion.
