This is about a girl named Vanessa jones or (Viper) as people call her, your average conning hoodlum, Causing trouble, getting into fights, stealing, then being then being thrown into the troubled teen industry. This is based on the hundreds of kids getting put into troubled teen industry's yearly and getting out traumatized, and some,not surviving to get out.

Ever heard of Breaking Code Silence? The trouble teen industry is made up of billions dollar businesses, profiting off of teens and young adults who are at the hardest points of their lives. This is a collection of true events based on the experiences of multiple individuals who have suffered at the hands of these businesses and have had very lasting effects from their times and experiences. All events are true, Names, Dates, Times, and Places are fictionalized to keep the anonymity of these individuals.

Nadine is one of the thousands of teenagers sent to Red Hollow to undergo "The Wilderness Cure" to cure her neurodivergence (OCD) and unique powers. The Counselors keep a tight rein on their group of twelve female Patients, slowly draining them of their supernatural abilities. Nadine falls in love with one of her fellow Patients, the spoiled but enchanting Katrinh. Nadine convinces the other Patients to revolt and kill their Cure Counselors. Nadine will soon become the world's most feared assassin, and take revenge on all those who tortured her during the Wilderness Cure. Young adult fantasy novel centered around a rag-tag group of various disabled characters who break free of their "troubled teen" wilderness therapy and become the world's most wanted assassins-for-hire. Main romance between ex-girlfriends Nadine (Afro-Caribbean coded) and Katrinh (Vietnamese-coded) as they reconnect. Story of found family, mental health, asserting dignity, and forming deep relationships.

Artemis gets suspended again and her parents are NOT happy about it. This is is the 5th time she's been suspended from school this year She's bordering on expulsion which would be her 4th expulsion. With nothing left to lose her parents decided to ship her off to the United Ringd so she can attend a boarding school well known for taking... less than ethical measures to "cure"their troubled students. Obviously Artemis is not happy about this but what can she do? She's only 17 and she has no Job, no car, and nowhere to run. So with her heart heavy with anger she boards a flight to England with no clue when she'll be back.
