He failed a test earlier, and he suspected that was the reason it happened. Thankfully, he didn't die; however, just like the rest, he needed to be shut up for a bit and healed. Many others had the same happen to them. (( This story has no main character, or at least a main character for only a small amount of time! ))

A short story.

In the murky depths of Shadow Creek, survival is a group effort. When a tantalizing neon-green lure drops into their eddy, Flash (an impulsive trout) sees a free meal, and Skimmer (a neurotic minnow) sees certain death. It's up to Moss, an ancient, grumpy bass with a jaw like a bulldozer, to keep his friends off the wall-and maybe turn the tables on the "Shadow Giant" waiting above. A short, humorous tale about an underwater heist where the bait is the prize.
