noxtis-malus
No one ever told me I was beautiful. Not once. Not my mother, not my friends, not the mirror - especially not the mirror.
As women, we learn early what beauty is - and I was not. I grew up feeling ugly. Never pretty. Never enough. I started to believe that love wasn't meant for someone like me.
So I stopped hoping.
Then he found me.
He wasn't close. He wasn't even in the same country. He was just a voice on a screen, a text in the morning and night. He made me feel like I was the only woman in the world. Like I was something worth waiting for. Like the miles between us didn't matter.
And nobody believed it was real.
