This book has been years in the making. It contains a cluster of poems, not inane sequence or storytelling form but rather all falling under a similar theme. Some of poems are a bit personal to me but most of them are character based.I tend to imagine my self as different characters, what would it feel like to be in that characters shoe and write from that perspective. I get inspiration to write these character based poems from movies, people in the street, books etc.

You can't always find the perfect one? do you? Maybe it's the guy next doorir maybe someone whose ass you kicked in middle school, a stranger you met by accident, a long lost friend maybe? It can be even be the president's son or daughter when their's love in between.

I got a text one night saying he had cheated on me. Who with? I thought. I confronted him the next day, but he lied to me. What for? What did he have to hide. And now he's my best friend. I don't trust anyone more than him. But what I have to learn is that not everyone has the same mindset as me, people tell lies to get what they want. They trick people to do what they want. And you get stuck just like me in a toxic relationship, that drains all the energy from your body. And all your doing is checking if someone is alright and it turns into a fight, what for? People say that love never dies out, but mine died out a long time ago. But, all you have to remember is to be true to yourself, be true to your heart.
