However, F.E.A.R. has taken up where Better Living Industries left off, and a new band of rebels has formed to pick up the fight for freedom.

Not physically, anyways. He was taken. And Party Poison, having the savior complex they do, can't help but try to save them. Which went about as great as you'd expect considering they went alone. "You're weak" smiled Korse as he kicked Party Poison in the side. Pain shot through his body and he couldn't do anything but lay there. Poison was defeated. He looked up to see a white ray gun pointed at his head. But somehow, in the back of my lonely head, I knew that I hadn't seen the last of him, and I knew that I hadn't seen the last of my home. ||Based off of the Danger Days album by My Chemical Romance, and The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys by Gerard Way.||

After the rise of Better Living Industries, and the damages created by the Analog Wars, the desert region outside of what used to be Los Angeles is now a habitat for colorful rebels who refuse to conform to the deadly corporation. Told out of the point of view of a young journalist named Billy, the wrath of dangerous gangs and faith in the wrong people shines through the Zones like a wild fire. From harmless outcast to wanted criminal, Billy figures out just how hazardous her desert home can truly be, and not because of B.L.I.

The Director arguably casts the longest shadow in Battery City's neon lights. Through heartbreak, setbacks and pain unimaginable, she became someone cold, someone single-minded about obtaining their goal, someone convinced that they were right. This is Her Story.

The Fabulous Four work seamlessly. They're good at what they do, extracting and creating and bombing and stealing from Better Living Industries, keeping the desert's group of killjoys alive. At least, they were. Until someone had a shot too many, in more ways than one. And they don't know how to fix whatever the hell broke them in the first place, not without interventions and yelling and empty threats that evolve back into something a little less than normal.
