I'm entering this for the #thegrudgecontest. It was a terrifying experience I had involving sleep paralysis around three years ago. My story may not be very long but it felt like an eternity to me.

NAMES HAVE BEEN CHANGED FOR PRIVACY REASONS. I AM VIOLET. After years of childish curiousity, Violet decided that using a Ouijji board to contact the dead or never alive would be something new and exciting for the after school clique of four teenage girls. Not only did they ask all the wrong questions, But they got all the right answers. "Is this Vov again?" "Yes." "Have you been watching Violet for a long time?" "Yes."

This is a true story that happened to me and my friends at work. We volunteer at an old lighthouse that was built in the early 1800's and is is extremely haunted. Everything in the story was how it actually happened. The only things that were changed were the names, for privacy reasons.
