Things in Nick's life have been going downhill lately. With the death of his father, bullying at school, and new internal struggles that he cannot seem to understand, his mental health takes a toll. Will someone notice and be able to help him before things get even worse? (This takes place sometime in like January after the This Winter Novella but before the Spring-Nelson dinner.)

Adam and Denis Spring are two average kids. Adam's a freshman, Denis is a junior. They have a pet dog named Logan and two dads. But as Adam starts his freshman year, things start to change. Maybe things aren't so average after all. Roslyn Jones is not an average girl. This year she will be a sophomore. She has 4 pet fish and two moms. Last year was absolute hell, with her coming out publically as a lesbian. Maybe this year she will finally fit in and be the 'average' kid she's always wanted to be.

A compilation of stories with the characters of Heartstopper, the British Netflix phenomenon based on Alice Oseman's comics, whom I love deeply and who have inspired me by becoming role models and being an incentive to keep going when you get lost in your own chaos.

I must give credit for the inspiration behind this story to a fellow member of a Facebook Heartstopper group, who commented on something I wrote there about imagining that the teacher's MUST have discussed Charlie and Nick between themselves at some point, unseen by the rest of us. In fact I'd written the basis of this story within an hour and have spent some time refining it ever since. All credit to Alice Oseman for creating the wonderful world of Heartstopper and all the great characters who exist in it. Please note: Mr. Ajayi's first name is in the Heartstopper cannon as Nathan, so obviously I've used that, however as neither Ms. Singh or Mr. Lange have their first names mentioned (as far as I know) I've used the actors' real names instead, so they are Chetna Singh and Alan Lange. In addition, according to Alice Oseman's list of characters although the pupils at Truham call Ms. Singh "Mrs Singh" her actual name is Singh Stevens, presumably a hyphenated combination of her and her wife's surnames. I've created back stories for them which may contradict events I've not yet noticed without a further re-read of the books.

Naomi is Nicks twin sister when Nick realises he's bi he turns to his sister for help. follow along as Naomi finds love herself and helps her brother and Charlie to understand their love for each other. ALL CHARACTERS BELONG TO ALICE OSEMAN AND NETFLIX. THE ONLY CHARACTERS THAT ARE MINE ARE NAOMI AND CHARLOTTE, and any other characters that aren't in the books or the show.
