I'm a mom of four, a wife, and a teacher. I survive mostly on coffee, grace, and whatever snacks are left in the car. Somewhere between school projects, lesson plans, hospital visits, forgotten lunchboxes, stepping on Lego, and cleaning golden syrup off the kitchen floor, I've discovered something beautiful: God is wildly intentional in ordinary moments. For years, I didn't always recognise His hand in our story. I didn't see it when an awkward boy walked home behind me from school. I didn't see it through heartbreak, mistakes, addiction, poverty, miscarriages, or the many storms Brucie and I faced together. But looking back now, I can see that God was writing a story long before we knew it. This is a collection of real-life stories from the beautifully chaotic Mienie household-stories filled with laughter, tears, unexpected miracles, sticky floors, stubborn children, stubborn husbands, and a God whose grace never runs out. She also finds out not everyone loves the lord like she does and gets heavily persecuted for her faith and the following year something traumatic happens but she finds hope and recovers not only with that but the death of her cousin Elizabeth the year before. As soon as her and Ronnie both start their freshmen year at Lynn Haven High School and face many challenges throughout their Christian faith and love she is once again suddenly faced with bullies and quite odd people that don't want Emma there and she becomes bullied for her faith in Christ and how she looks. This is based on a true story. In December 1999 lives were drastically changed. A woman with a husband and small children had a cardiac arrest and her heart stopped for eight minutes. Doctors wanted to give up on her but God didn't.
