I'm a mom of four, a wife, and a teacher. I survive mostly on coffee, grace, and whatever snacks are left in the car. Somewhere between school projects, lesson plans, hospital visits, forgotten lunchboxes, stepping on Lego, and cleaning golden syrup off the kitchen floor, I've discovered something beautiful: God is wildly intentional in ordinary moments. For years, I didn't always recognise His hand in our story. I didn't see it when an awkward boy walked home behind me from school. I didn't see it through heartbreak, mistakes, addiction, poverty, miscarriages, or the many storms Brucie and I faced together. But looking back now, I can see that God was writing a story long before we knew it. This is a collection of real-life stories from the beautifully chaotic Mienie household-stories filled with laughter, tears, unexpected miracles, sticky floors, stubborn children, stubborn husbands, and a God whose grace never runs out. Join me as I share the funny, heartbreaking, messy, and faith-filled moments that taught me one simple truth: Life may be chaotic, but God is always intentional.

This is a journal of sorts... I'm posting this onto Wattpad for myself. I'm heading off to college... I've never been in a setting where I'm around so many people virtually every day. And as a person of faith, I will be tested. This book will include humour and serious matters as well. There will also be some little faith talk/spurts.

In a world filled with chaos, disrespect, and unseen struggles, every step becomes a test of faith and resilience. "Rising Through the Fog" chronicles a journey of divine guidance, strength, and clarity in the midst of confusion and adversity. Alex walks into the everyday world-into crowded stores, overwhelming streets, and the unpredictability of life-yet moves with the calm assurance of a spirit guided by God Himself. Each encounter becomes a lesson in grace, each decision an act of faith. From unexpected acts of kindness to divine signs that cannot be ignored, the story unfolds as a testimony that God is real, that He sees everything, and that He is always present even in the quietest moments. It's a reminder that no matter how heavy the weight of the world feels, there is divine protection, guidance, and a higher plan at work. This is not just a story of survival; it is a story of revelation, spiritual awakening, and the power of prayer. Alex's journey inspires reflection, courage, and belief in miracles, showing that even in the foggiest, darkest moments, the light of truth, love, and divine presence cannot be extinguished.

What comes to mind when you see the word, "nightmare"? Do you think of all your teeth falling out in front of your bathroom mirror? Or maybe your pants falling down in the middle of your math class? That would be as normal as a nightmare could possibly get. But at least you always wake up, right? Well, what if, perhaps, you wake up, and your nightmare isn't a nightmare...But reality? Jay Falley is a not-so-normal seventeen year old girl. She earned three engineering scholarships and won countless technology competitions. She has several colleges after her talent and on top of all that, she has school, babysitting, and church meets every Sunday and Wednesday night. Jeremy Henryson is a not-so-normal eighteen year old guy. He mysteriously lost his parents after they had gone on a mission when he was only fifteen. He'd been earning college credits since he was fourteen and was training to be a spy as well. He was adopted by a normal couple, who couldn't have kids of their own, at fifteen and was a spy by sixteen. How could their lives get any more bizarre? How about adding marriage, bombings, and a secret nuclear organization who has their mind set on destroying America and taking over the world? Scary.
