But when the end of the summer arrives and autumn comes, will James choose to stay with the girl he loved for the summer, or try to win back the girl he left for her? • • • I do not own Betty, James, August or Inez, but I have developed them from what I know about them from folklore. Everyone else is in my imagination. The only other characters in here is the boy James spotted Betty dancing with ("plus I saw you dance with him") and Betty's friends ("in front of all your stupid friends.")
