The Russian Empire was at peace in 1947. The Russian Empire defeated the Reds and communist Germany, and is now leading the world alongside the Japanese Empire and the United States. The city of Petrograd is unexpectedly attacked by a legion of medieval troops and creatures dressed in Roman armor as a portal from another realm arises. A 18-year-old male Tsarevich named Artyom Romanov led the charge of Russian Imperial guards as he fought off medieval soldiers dressed in Roman armor.
