Following the Grand Ducal Coup of 1917, Russia embarks on a tenuous path to recovery. Grand Duke Michael, acting as regent for the young Tsar Alexei II, has granted autonomy to various regions and overseen a gradual economic revival. Yet, a shadow hangs over the future. The young Tsar has just recovered from a severe haemophilia episode and, although advances in medicine seem to be promising for his condition, voices within the family are questioning his rightful place as Tsar of Russia. Meanwhile, in Paris, the exiled members of the Bolshevik party feel that the chance of achieving their long-awaited revolution is slipping away. Russia's prosperity has damaged their cause and their leader, Vladimir Lenin is fading away after a series of strokes. The race to occupy his place is on and is feverous, but Grigory Zinoviev has a more subtle approach. He intends to use an unexpected connection to the Ballets Russes, Russia's most avant-garde ballet company and long supported by Grand Duke Paul, to find his way into the imperial family and damage it from within. As for the Paleys, Grand Duke Paul's morganatic family, they are fully settled in Russia. Prince Vladimir Paley continues his work as a professor of Russian Literature at the Corps des Pages and accepts the position of tutor to Grand Duke Michael's two children, Tata and George. Princess Irina Paley is living a fairytale romance with Prince Feodor Alexandrovich, but she'll have to make a difficult choice between love and her own personal ambitions. Princess Natalia, known for her artistic spirit, finds herself drawn to a captivating ballet dancer. However, her unconventional passions could spark unforeseen consequences for both her and the Empire.

Ever wonder what kind of an emperor Tsarevich Alexei Nikolaevich would have been? Would he have been a tyrant? Would he have been dubbed as Alexei the terrible as his father often joked or would he have been a tenderhearted man just like his father before him? Had the murders on the night of the 17th of July 1918 never taken place, would he have lived long enough to see his own children rule Russia or would bouts of hemophilia cut his life short? These are one of the many questions that will never be answered. Unless, of course, we reopen an already finished story and add a little twist to it. In this story, the murders never took place. Read through and who knows, maybe all those unanswered questions may finally be answered. Long live the Romanovs!

{Fictional History/Fantasy AU} What if World War I never happened and instead, it was just an European war, the Great War? What if the French Revolution had been the only triumphant revolution against the absolutist monachies? What if the Bolshevik Revolution had started to fail just the day of the Romanov execution? What if Atlantis was real but hidden from every other civilisation in the world? -----+++----- In the aftermaths of the Great War, Europe has turned messy. From the war's ashes, the European Empire, ruled by the Habsburgs, has risen. But not everyone accepts the new reality. Some have decided to struggle for freedom. Meanwhile, in the oceans' depths, Atlantis, the hidden pacific civilisation, continues its existence without any contact with outsiders for millennia. Alexei and Gabrielle, both born in Europe, live there, forgetting their other world as they hide. But not for long when their home world suddenly calls them back. A revolution is starting and they both and the Atlants have gained a role in it. A revolution is a way to change the world, but only if it has success. The Russian Empire was at peace in 1947. The Russian Empire defeated the Reds and communist Germany, and is now leading the world alongside the Japanese Empire and the United States. The city of Petrograd is unexpectedly attacked by a legion of medieval troops and creatures dressed in Roman armor as a portal from another realm arises. A 18-year-old male Tsarevich named Artyom Romanov led the charge of Russian Imperial guards as he fought off medieval soldiers dressed in Roman armor. He is younger than Piña Co Lada, Bozes Co Palesti and Zorzal El Caesar, but not by much. But if you irritate him, he's no regular Tsarevich. He is polite and quiet, but he will slap you silly.
