    ||Book III|| It has been over a year since we left off with the Jellicle Tribe. With Munkustrap still settling as leader and a new generation of Jellicles entering the world, it is no surprise that forces of power like no other begin to tangle with the lives of the cats and make life in the Junkyard a daily battle. But as usual love of all kinds thrives, magic grows, and the strength of friendship and family bonds is tested to the limits. ---- Fantastic cover art by https://stuterirose.deviantart.com/ thank you so much!! If you haven't already, I recommend you check out the first two books, Cats Onwards and Cats Forever. Rights go to T.S Eliot and Andrew Lloyd Webber Some characters belong to myself. WARNING: 'There will be time to murder and create, And time for all the works and days of hands That lift and drop a question on your plate; Time for you and time for me, And time yet for a hundred indecisions, And for a hundred visions and revisions, Before the taking of a toast and tea.'

A grown woman, old enough by far to know better, dumps her mass of unpublished poetry on the unsuspecting public. This long and winding collection about the orange as a symbol for honestly pretty much everything but especially love and lost faith is for you if you're a fan of both TS Eliot and Anne Sexton (and the Middle Ages), but recognize that they are both long dead and no longer publishing and the Middle Ages were over with the printing press, so you'll have to settle for third or fourth or fifth best. Last year I wrote this for my Honors Literature course. During our poetry unit, we read the Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock along with many different poems. We were told to pick one and write a story of what events would occur afterwards or what happened before the poem or any other loose adaption of the poem. I got a 100 on this assignment. Many writers have pondered where T. S. Eliot got the idea for the Love Song and who exactly J. Alfred Prufrock was. Some have even stated that Alfred is an alter ego to Eliot or some hidden side of himself he never showed. I took that into perspective. In this story, our main character, T. S. Eliot, fights against his depression and must make a decision between life and death, love and hate, sadness and happiness. I suggest reading the original poem before reading this one, so you can see the references to his poetic style.

This essay explores the search for meaning and authenticity in contemporary life, using T.S. Eliot's poem The Hollow Men as a starting point. It draws parallels between Eliot's imagery of empty, straw-filled figures and the modern experience of feeling disconnected and unfulfilled despite being constantly connected through technology. The piece examines how our focus on external validation, material success, and curated online personas can lead to a sense of emptiness or what philosopher Viktor Frankl called an "existential vacuum." It argues that true fulfillment comes not from what we do or own, but from understanding who we are at our core. The essay encourages readers to break free from societal pressures and performative living, instead seeking genuine connections, embracing vulnerability, and aligning their lives with their authentic selves and values. It concludes by challenging readers to resist the "hollow life" and find meaning through self-discovery and genuine human interaction.

[COMPLETED] Indigo always had problems, but when her father committed murder-suicide against her mother, she had trouble keeping those problems under control. She had a fear of the world. Everyday actions were feats for her; going to high school, socializing, even falling asleep at night. Of course, her greedy aunt was no help. She felt hopeless. Until she met Nate. Nate had problems of his own. All his life he's had trouble staying focused. He wanted to believe he was normal, but it's hard to think that when you're brilliant in class and... not so brilliant on paper. He didn't want to have A.D.H.D. He tried to pretend he didn't, but there was something rooted deep inside him, telling him he wasn't good enough. He felt useless. Until he met Indigo. When Nate met Indigo, all he wanted to do was help, but could she reveal her secrets to him? Could two wrongs make a right? Quickly, Indigo and Nate developed a relationship that neither thought was possible for themselves to have. Could Nate help Indigo move on from her past and defeat her demons? Could Indigo help Nate accept himself for who he was and hopefully help him pass English? Originally a NaNoWriMo novel, The Way the World Ends revolves around two teens just trying to survive high school and hopefully understand themselves and the words of T.S. Eliot. *** warning: some sexual content, brief violence, language, and sensitive topics. a student's writings, inspired by nature and science, and accumulated throughout the early days of the Internet, these writings explore expectations for the expressive 'convergence' to come. (revised edition 2014, with some alterations) ALT. BLURB: 'A one-off collection of early poetry from an artist and musician inspired amidst the rise of the internet; by possibilities for communication in the future. It blends a personal need for understanding with the implications of control for this more connected future, amid general submission to the eternal forces of nature and evolution.' 'Having grown up with the growth of the Web and computers, fascinated like most by these new elements of control and communication, I began to think about the spiritual implications - mixed together with a personal struggle for expression at the time - for all our souls within a system of nature. Later on these speculations were gathered together, and some of these 'results' question identity and highlight the limitations in our lives prior to this projected 'convergence', in the future. I feel there is scope for continual speculation, to aid us in our relationship with communication and computer technology.'

I wrote this short story as a class assignment and my teacher thought it was good so... It's quite cliche, the usual girl on the run a murdered fiance and all that jazz. Note: this contains quotes and imagery from T.S Elliot's poem "the love song for j. Alfred Prufrock.
