They are just as ruthless as their mothers and fathers, perhaps worse. With blasphemous manners and grotesque appetites, the children are villains through and through. However, there are rare anomalies in the mythical world, where the child is stubborn; They question what they are told and taught. They wonder what would happen if they bought the babies candy instead of taking it; if they broke chocolate and shared it instead of breaking bones. Valerie Grayskull is an abnormality, to say the least; she is a whirlwind of ice and merciless fingers which find their way into the pockets of any stupid princess the School of Good and Evil offers at her feet. She is an old friend of revenge and cold-blooded cruelty, and will tear down both schools to grasp it in her iced palms. She will let nothing stop her, not even the epitome of good himself.

But only one day remains until her sixteenth birthday, the day the first letter of her soulmate's name is going to show up on her wrist, and she suspects who the person might be. And if her gut feeling is correct, she isn't looking forward to the murder part at all. After all, killing your best friend isn't a thing you can get prepared for.

What if Rhian and Rafal had to deal with the Storian as a friendlier, fluffy, rainbow pen that behaved like a pet? Credit to @roselle_moon 's tumblr posts for this oddly, insanely compelling idea about the fluffy, rainbow Storian. I couldn't help myself, so I took her ideas and ran with them. Also, read her fics! Her characterizations are top-notch! Note: I did toy around with the order of Rise's series of events a little, and included elements of Fall. So, be warned: the continuity is by no means perfect, the tone is intended to be more comedic (and sometimes more modern?) than usual, and I wrote this more for the concept than the plot at first. You could consider it a loose chronological series of vignettes, if that's easier to understand because it isn't quite a full story. It cuts from scene to scene. Or, rather, it is a story with a lot of scene breaks. Also, this was kind of an impulse fic, so I didn't start with a plan until a little later, but I did edit. But with a snowstorm approaching, Nicola is determined to get supplies to her grandmother's house - determined enough to venture into the woodland. I made the OCs up but yeah First you meet Charlie and then ace these two are the only two to worry about so if anything happens to the other OCs that's cause I'm either killing them off or I forgot there were OCs.
