As time passes, the consequences of being there longer than he should become more and more bitter as the journey goes, and that bitter path will rot. The characters suffer, die, and disappear, and Dominic cannot leave unless things are at peace again. But how will it end? Will it ever end? The endless suffering that they have to go through will not stop unless the problem is resolved. The cycle will repeat unless something breaks.
