Shiro winced at the increasing noise as more and more of them resorted to screaming instead of talking like normal human beings. Then again, he wasn't the definition of normal either, but they didn't know that. Not yet, at least. If he stayed in that gym any longer, he'd not only be a one-legged cripple, but a deaf one too. He made his way to the exit, only to be knocked over by a very hyperactive libero. "Where you going, kouhai? You still gotta serve to me!" Glittering, cat-like eyes sparkled above him, a huge grin plastered on his face. He shifted so he was sitting cross-legged on Shiro's chest, grinning even wider as he saw his furious blush. "Did anyone ever tell you how adorable you are?" Nishinoya cooed and was elated to see Shiro's bewildered expression. Here he was, sitting on the pretty boy everyone couldn't help but fall for, and the latter was blushing! "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?" A dark shadow fell upon the gym, violently yanking Noya off the poor boy. Shiro gulped, his face turning deathly pale from tomato red as he stared up at Noya, who now was dangling from a furious Daichi's hold. The captain looked around, seeing the disaster and the frozen, guilty expressions on the other's faces, and all of a sudden, the team stopped breathing. He was foolish to think he'd live to twenty. **************************** Takumi Shiro, a boy of few words and fewer smiles, has spent his whole life silently searching for his chance. He's an enigma, a powerhouse, a boy of monstrous instinct and reflexes on the court, even though he's been an amputee since he was 6 years old, and kept out of the game throughout his years in middle school. soul mate /ˈsōl ˌmāt/ noun noun: soulmate a person ideally suited to another as a close friend or romantic partner. The connection of soulmates is physical. The images drawn on your own skin show up on your soulmates as well. Cuts, burns, bruises, and blisters also shared with soulmates. When one is felling pain, the other feels it too but to a lesser degree. Though there is a connection, there are limits. Marking personal information, locations, appearances, and the such will show on the writers skin, but not the soulmates skin. (y/n) was sure her soul mate played volleyball. Constantly feeling a light tingling sensation on her fingers and forearms. But she guesses it's only fair, as she loved art. It was impossible to not get paint on herself accidentally. After many failed attempts to meet with her soulmate, they both kinda gave up. But of course this is a story about (y/n) finding her soulmate. So maybe she hasn't given up completely. It's also why he'd caught the eye of the Fukurodani international intelligence group in his last year of grad school. For some reason, the one thing he could not seem to learn was that handsome men with Cheshire grins are not to be trusted.
