This is the sequel to "Burn in Water, Drown in Fire". It's after Angel's graduation and her summer before her first year in college. She plans to have an awesome time, but the only problem is that her brother's dying. His powers are taking over his nervous system, but he's thought of a cure. The main ingredients? The boys. Devin sends Angel out to find Joey, Brian, and Zac--the only other people that experienced The Drug before it was revealed to the public and fixed into a Diabetes cure. Its ironic how we live in a life where luxuries are a part of our everyday life, and we don't realize how lucky we are until its all gone. I never realized that having people close to me was just as important as food and shelter. Nobody can predict what happens in the future because life is full with surprises.
