In another world, Satoru Mikami survives, passing out from blood loss in the streets of Japan, only to wake up in the hospital, alive. In this world, Raymón dies in a crumbling warehouse, making a brutal and bloody last stand to protect his employer and those he commanded. Upon his last breath, Raymón awakens to total darkness. Raymón reincarnates as a slime.
