«"Wait, Did that really happen?" my heart pounds after Mike's words, and I look at my reflection in the bathroom mirror "It can't be" I shake my head in denial "Mike's just playing his role, nothing else. It's not Mike who's flirting with ME. It's his character, flirting with an NPC. Nothing to overthink here" I convince myself as I slightly wet my hair. » Will's been having trouble sleeping since they came back to Hawkins, he's constantly feeling like Vecna might still be out there and the fear overcomes him specially during night time. To ease Will's mind, Mike offers him a solution: Play DnD during night time to distract him while they're on summer vacation. God knows they don't actually have anything else to do with all of Hawkins in quarantine. Since the rest of the party wouldn't be able to join them, they decide they'll have to play alone, just like they used to when they were kids. Will, as the Dungeon Master and Mike, as the Hero of a series of One Shots Will wrote back in California. These One-Shots will give them a chance to not only reconnect but maybe develop something deeper using their characters as shields, after all, it's not like they can actually express some feelings they have towards each other freely. This is a fanfic placed within the eighteen months of timejump in between S4 and S5 of Stranger Things. PS: this might have some grammar issues since English is not my first language. I apologize. Also, the DnD rules I will be using in this fanfic are the rules of Advanced Dungeons & Dragons 2e which is the one they most likely would've been playing in 86' anyway you don't need to know D&D rules or mechanics to understand anything. This will be mostly narrative and roleplaying focused instead of mechanics and combat focused. Hope you like it.

A maniacal wizard escapes slavery from the red wizards of Thay, after her master was killed in a treacherous plot. After hearing of Candlekeep, she makes her way there, chronicling her adventures along the way and sharing her story with the sages of the keep.

After years of watching resurrection magic become more and more common, an order of mages has been working behind the scenes to hoard or destroy the material components for such magic, allowing them to essentially control who can and cannot be resurrected. For the average person, this hardly matters, but to adventurers, this makes protecting the world even more difficult. One such group of adventurers, Conrad's Comrades, chooses to continue adventuring anyway, knowing the risks are higher now. And before too long, tragedy strikes. In less than an hour, the rogue loses her entire party, really her family. Without normal methods of resurrection, and with a desire for vengeance, she resorts to drastic measures to get back what she lost, and to see that justice is brought. Using the rules of Dungeons & Dragons 5e I wrote and ran a Jurassic Park One-Shot for my friends for my birthday in June 2019. The idea is a "prologue" that ties in directly to the events of the first Jurassic Park film by Steven Spielberg.

It's been almost a year since his last adventure, and Shay is fine with that. He's settled into a routine studying at Neverwinter's House of Knowledge and he's adopted a little protege. He's even (mostly) gotten over the fact that a year ago, he'd probably ruined his only chance at a relationship. It doesn't matter now - he's got his studies to worry about. Lupe is the one who brings the aftermath of the new king's coronation to his attention, and all at once, he comes to three very important realizations. The first is that King Drace Tempest is not at all what the papers and the city claim him to be. The second is that maybe he hadn't actually ruined all of his fortunes a year ago. The third is that it clearly doesn't matter how much he tries to refuse the call to action - apparently, adventuring is a part of him as much as the magic in his blood.

Hello there! I go by Joe and am the author of this here not-really-story. At the point of writing this, I have gone through a very rough patch emotionally. It is at this time that I found role-playing games, such as Dungeons & Dragons, extremely therapeutic and eye-opening, as the characters I play often tend to be exaggerated aspects of my actual personality. Not having a regular group to play with (partially voluntarily) and in need of a more cozy experience, I found Wanderhome. Wanderhome is a beautiful, heartwarming game about animal-folk wandering the land of Hæth. Hæth has known war and turmoil, but there is no violence in Hæth anymore. This story is a compilation of diary entries written by Gadda the rabbit, who has left his home in hopes that the road could help him understand himself. It will progress as I, Joe, will progress in my sort of solo campaign. The various places in Gadda's journey will be generated by a roll of the dice. For those who are interested to know more about Gadda's playbook, it is detailed in the Entry No. 0. I hope you enjoy tagging along with me and with Gadda on this journey.
